All accounts have inactivity requirements. The specific timeframe depends on your account type.
Evaluation Accounts
Evaluation accounts must place at least one trade within every 7 consecutive calendar days. If 7 days pass with no trading activity, your evaluation account will be terminated.
Funded Accounts
Funded accounts must place at least one trade within every 14 consecutive calendar days. If 14 days pass with no trading activity, your funded account will be terminated.
Other Account Types
For all other account types (Straight to Funded, Straight to Live, etc.), inactivity timeframes are handled on a case-by-case basis. If you have questions about your specific account's inactivity policy, contact support.
Why This Rule Exists
The inactivity rule ensures that accounts are being actively used. Inactive accounts tie up firm capital without generating the trading activity the program is designed for.
Even a single trade within the inactivity window resets your clock. If you plan to take a break from trading, make sure you return and place at least one trade before the window closes.
