When is KYC required?
KYC (Know Your Customer) verification is required before your first payout on a funded account. You do not need to complete KYC to sign up, purchase an evaluation, or trade — only when you're ready to withdraw profits.
What documents do I need?
You'll need to provide:
- Government-issued photo ID — Passport, driver's license, or national ID card. Must be valid (not expired).
- Proof of address — Utility bill, bank statement, or government letter dated within the last 3 months showing your name and residential address.
- Selfie verification — A live selfie or photo of you holding your ID, depending on the verification provider.
How do I complete KYC?
- Log in to your dashboard.
- Navigate to the KYC / Verification section.
- Upload your documents and complete the selfie check.
- Wait for approval — most verifications are processed within 24 hours.
How long does verification take?
Most KYC submissions are reviewed and approved within 24 hours. In some cases it may take up to 48 hours if additional review is required.
Common issues
- Blurry or cropped documents — Ensure all text and your photo are clearly visible.
- Expired ID — Only valid, non-expired documents are accepted.
- Name mismatch — The name on your ID must match the name on your Prop Pit account exactly.
- Address mismatch — Your proof of address must match the address on file.
Tip
Complete your KYC early — you can submit it any time after creating your account, even before you've hit your profit target. This way there's no delay when you're ready to request your first payout.
